Honma Beres MG713 Driver

Honma Beres MG713 Driver

Honma introduces it's all new 2008 MG713 driver for amateurs with average swing speeds looking for extra distance and forgiveness. The 460cc conforming all titanium head features bazooka ribs and a shallow wide head that paired with the ARMRQ shaft enable level swings.

Compared to the previous model, the projected area and face are 14 mm and 5 mm wider respectively. Further, in making the sole periphery thicker, the moment of inertia is boosted by 10% to take it to the highest level (4500-cm3).

At 460ccs, the head features the largest top surface projected area of all of Honma's clubs.

Moment of inertia is maximized by adding weight to select parts of the sole.

To achieve the appropriate spin level and high strike angle necessary to produce excellent carry, we made the crown a very thin 0.65 mm. This design yields a low center of gravity.

Six "bazooka ribs" serve to efficiently convey energy to the ball on impact.

The MG713 comes with standard 2 Star ARMRQ UD49 low-mid kicking shaft in R or S flex.

3, 4 and 5 Star upgrades are available at additional costs.

HONMA STAR RATING SYSTEM AND WHAT IT MEANS:

The star rating system used by Honma determines the seniority of the craftsman who builds the club as well as the quality and type of materials used for that specific shaft. 3, 4 and 5 star are built by more senior Honma craftsman and 4 and 5 star make use of T-1000 grade composite, the highest quality carbon available on the commercial market. Honma uses this system to ensure that their products put workmanship and quality as the number one priority. With superior materials and master craftmanship, Honma stands behind their product stating that the quality will last a lifetime.
