Tourstage 2009 X-Drive 901 Driver

Tourstage 2009 X-Drive 901 Driver

Tourstage has introduced it's all new X-Drive lineup for 2009! The new lineup consists of 4 all titanium models, the 901, 701, 701G and 701GR.

They are all aimed at different player types. The primary differences are:

Head Size and Shape
CG Placement
Lie Angle
Face Angle

These differences result in different trajectorys and shot types including the following:

901: Low trajectory and Fade ball - face angle slightly open
701: Low-medium trajectory Fade and Draw - face angle square
701G: Medium trajectory Straight and Draw - face angle square
GR: Medium-High trajectory Draw - face angle slightly closed

The new X-Drive 901 is forged from premium Ti811. The 901 is more compact traditional shaped head at 445cc with a focus on control. The 901 is weighted for a fade ball and has a slightly open to square face and low trajectory due to a higher center of gravity. The 901 is aimed at the athlete/scratch/low handicap golfer who is a good driver of the ball. Available only in 9.5* loft and stock with Tourstage Tour Design graphite which ranges from 61-67g depending on flex. The Tour Design is lower torque mid kick and is aimed at the smoother swinger. High end upgrades featuring the newest shafts are available including new Tour AD EV-7, Diamana Kai'li 70 and Rombax 7F09. The upgrade shafts are considered special order and may take longer than a standard order.

The Tour AD EV shaft is a low torque mid to high launch shaft. The new Kai'li is a low torque low-mid launch shaft. The new Rombax F is low torque mid to high launch. All the upgrade shafts are in the 70g range.
